My employer is paying for it
Our verdictTake it — but read the bond before you sign.
If someone else is paying, the cost side of the decision largely disappears, which changes the answer. What replaces it is the commitment: most sponsored programmes come with a service bond.
What to check
- Ask how long the bond runs and what it costs to break.
- Ask whether the employer picks the institution, and whether their pick is entitled for the mode.
- A sponsored expensive programme is usually better than a self-funded cheap one — the teaching is the part you are getting for free.
